Meet Michelle Corona

Bilingual Mental Health Intern, MSW

Michelle Corona is a dedicated advocate for social justice and collective liberation, currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in Social Work and Public Administration at the University of Utah. Michelle has held various roles, including case management, peer support, addiction counselor, including involved in program development, and leadership, across diverse settings. Michelle is also a licensed Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor (ASUDC).
 As a first-generation Mexican American, Michelle is grounded in lived experience and a strong connection to immigrant, BIPOC, and marginalized communities. They are committed to honoring the complexities of identity, healing, and power. 

In their free time, Michelle enjoys reading, going on hikes, watching Netflix, comedy shows and spending time with her cats. Michelle can provide sessions in both English and Spanish.
