Immigration Evaluations In Utah and Beyond

Mental Health Immigration Evaluations at Arches Healing & Growth

Low-cost and Community-Driven Immigration Therapy Visits

At Arches Healing & Growth, immigration is part of our history and lived experience. We want to help our community get the resources they need. Our team can assist you in completing your immigration paperwork, including mental health evaluations that lead to an immigration letter.

Immigration evaluations in Utah and other states often cost more than $1,000. We don’t believe that the immigration psychological evaluation cost should be a limiting factor. We can provide an immigration assessment for just $700, which includes supporting documents.

The $700 is a flat fee, which is not covered by insurance, and we can divide the payment into two installments of $350 if necessary. The fee includes two sessions for an assessment and all necessary paperwork to complete the process.

Our team includes Spanish-speaking therapists, and we also offer services in English and Hindi. Whether you are seeking immigration evaluations in Salt Lake City, elsewhere in Utah, or in another state, we can support you. Sessions are available both in-person and remotely for your convenience.

We provide thorough mental health immigration evaluations designed to support you throughout the immigration process. We understand that navigating paperwork for immigration can feel overwhelming, especially for undocumented individuals, and our goal is to make the process as simple and accessible as possible.

Our experienced clinicians conduct thorough psychological assessments, providing valuable insights into the mental health and emotional well-being of applicants.

These evaluations are often used in immigration cases. Those cases may include asylum, waivers, deportation defense, family reunification, or people seeking a hardship waiver. The evaluations address the psychological impact of trauma, persecution, or other challenging circumstances.

We provide detailed, clear, and professional reports tailored to meet the specific needs of your immigration case. We ensure that your mental health history is accurately represented. Immigration Cases We Provide Documentation For:

Immigration law can be complex, and many individuals work with an immigration attorney. Your immigration status can vary based on your home country, legal status in the United States, and other factors. We can help with a variety of immigration cases, from visa applicants to people seeking asylum.

  • VAWA – These evaluations relate to the Violence Against Women Act. They establish the psychological impact of verbal, physical, or sexual abuse.

  • T-VISAS – Evaluations for victims of human trafficking highlight specific case-related hardships. They also narrate the mental health consequences caused by the abuse.

  • U-VISAS – These evaluations are for immigrants who are victims of a serious crime that occurred in the United States. The evaluations document substantial physical or psychological abuse.

  • DACA –Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) evaluations are designed to support individuals who came to the U.S. as children and meet the eligibility requirements of the program. These evaluations highlight the potential psychological, emotional, and educational impact of deportation. Rather than centering on trauma or crimes, the emphasis is on how removal from the U.S. would affect a person’s mental health, stability, and ability to maintain their life in the only country many of them have truly known.

  • POLITICAL ASYLUM – A psychological evaluation can provide evidence of abuse or mistreatment suffered in home countries. It narrates the mental health consequences of past abuse or persecution. This helps determine how that abuse may continue to impact the individual in the future.

Our Process at Arches Healing and Growth

Our licensed therapists conduct two comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. We gather clinical and personal histories as they relate to immigration cases. We can also provide a psychological diagnosis if appropriate.

Evaluations assess psychological, emotional, and social factors relevant to the client’s case. After the assessment, our licensed clinicians write a clear and detailed letter. It takes us about a week after both sessions are finished to complete the letter.

We provide this letter to both the client and their attorney to support their immigration case. The letter documents the mental health impact on the client and the psychosocial factors that may strengthen their immigration petition.

  • Credit card payments and payment plans available.

  • Video call appointments available.

Referrals For Immigration Evaluations

For attorneys looking to refer clients for evaluations, we are happy to help. We are based in Salt Lake City and Millcreek, but can take clients anywhere in the U.S. While some folks prefer to travel to us, we are also able to handle the process remotely using video conferencing.

Our team includes therapists who speak Spanish, English, and Hindi. As a BIPOC-owned practice, we are part of the immigrant community and strive to help our neighbors navigate this process. We prioritize dignity and compassion throughout our evaluations, and we offer prices significantly lower than those of many other practitioners.

We have partnered with attorneys from many areas. We also work with the ACLU, the IRC, and the Asian Association of Utah. We are open to additional partnerships and are always happy to take referrals. Please reach out with any questions.
