Meet Jennifer Garces
Mental Health Intern, MSWi
Jenny Garces, is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Utah with a concentration in Mental Health. She holds bachelor's degrees in Health, Society & Policy and Human Development, along with a minor in Pediatric Clinical Research. Jenny has experience supporting adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions.
As a bilingual, first gen graduate student, Jenny understands the importance of community, connection, and having people who believe in you. She focuses on creating a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore and know they don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
Jenny's approach to therapy is holistic, trauma informed, and strengths based. She believes every person carries a unique story and deserves to be heard. With compassionate curiosity, openness, and a healthy sense of humor, Jenny works alongside clients to help them reconnect with themselves, discover what feels authentic, and build a life that aligns with their values.
Outside of the therapy room, Jenny enjoys spending time in the mountains, trail running, snowboarding, traveling, playing guitar, discovering new music, and laughing with family and friends. She believes living a meaningful life includes adventure, creativity, connection, and moments of joy. Jenny provides therapy in both English and Spanish.
